Lord’s Supper: Holy Communion / Mass / Eucharist / Liturgy and Transubstantiation

Catholicism’s Standard:
In Catholicism, Communion is the holiest sacrament of the Seven Sacraments where all attendees are welcome to eat of wafers and grape juice, usually available in small packets, at every meeting. Transubstantiation, additionally, is the doctrine which states that, when the priest blesses the wafer and the juice, that these two items literally become the flesh and blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.  See also “Priests and the Seven Sacraments.”

God’s Standard:
First, the Lord’s Supper is one of two ordinances established by the Lord Jesus Christ, which is not a sacrament, meaning that it does not pertain to any priest.  Second, only members of the Lord Jesus Christ’s Church, the Bride of Christ, and only those members who are in good standing, are permitted to engage in the Lord’s Supper. This absolutely excludes all non-baptized people sitting in the pews, the same who have not made a Profession of Faith (See also “Baptism: Infant Baptism and Baptismal Regeneration”). Third, unleavened bread and wine (not little wafers and grape juice) are the only acceptable items, with all of the participants eating from the same loaf and drinking from the same glass. Before the bread and the wine is served, certain members of the Church are asked to lead the body of believers in prayer, asking our Savior Jesus Christ to bless the bread and the cup, which is symbolic of Christ’s blood and body. This is the pattern after which Christ served the loaf and the wine (See 1 Corinthians 11:17-34). What business do you Catholics have, calling the loaf and wine the literal body of Christ and his blood? Are you vampires? Read up on Deuteronomy 12:23-25, “Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh. Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water. Thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD.” Of course Christ didn’t give them his actual blood and flesh to eat, you dirt-dumb brutes! God knows what His own Laws are; it is a type of Christ’s blood cleansing His Elect from their iniquities. Revelation 12:9-12, “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. You have no business twisting the words (and to your own destruction) – shut your lying mouths!
